How to get a Greece visa appointment

Greece applications go through Kosmos Vize and securing an appointment is the hardest part. Appointments are released in the first week of each month for the following month. Extra quota is sometimes released mid-month, but not regularly.
When are appointments released?
First week of the month. Based on our own daily tracking, the following months appointments are released in bulk during this period. October slots appear in the first week of September. The centre does not publish a formal calendar.
Mid-month. Extra quota is released in some months. This is not a regular practice, so do not plan around it.
During the day. Cancelled appointments return to the system. These cannot be predicted and require continuous monitoring.
Why are appointments hard to find?
Part of the quota goes to agencies. Our observation is that not all released quota remains available to individual applicants. The centre also publishes a separate accredited agency list for Edirne, indicating agencies have a defined role.
Summer creates a bottleneck. Between April and September, Greece is one of the hardest Schengen appointments to secure. October to March is noticeably easier.
Slots fill quickly. If you are not in the system when the quota opens, you usually miss that month.
I cannot find an appointment. What can I do?
Track cancellations. Cancelled slots return to the system and catching them requires constant monitoring.
Move outside high season. If your dates are flexible, October to March is far easier.
Check the right centre. The centre you apply to depends on your province of residence.
Prepare documents in advance. Once a slot is found you usually have to attend at short notice.
Start early. Beginning two to three months ahead means you are not dependent on a single quota release.
Rules published by the application centre
The following are stated in the application centre's own announcements.
- Appointments are released periodically and announced on the centre website and social media beforehand.
- Walk-in applications are not accepted.
- Applicants must reside in one of the provinces served by the office they apply to.
- Applications from the Izmir branch require at least 15 days between application and travel. For the Antalya, Ayvalik, Bodrum, Fethiye, Kusadasi and Marmaris offices this is at least 16 days.
- For foreign nationals the periods are 15 and 16 business days respectively.
- Walk-in truck driver applications are not accepted at the Ankara and Gaziantep offices.

Do you guarantee an appointment?
No. Quota is entirely controlled by the application centre. Our work is being in the system the moment quota opens, tracking cancellations and keeping your file ready.
What if I miss my appointment?
The appointment is cancelled and you will need to book again.
Can we book one appointment for the family?
No. A separate appointment is required for every person, including infants.
I already gave fingerprints. Do I still need to attend?
If you gave fingerprints within the past 59 months they will not be taken again, but documents still need to be submitted in person.
